Our week was 'Jest' great : )

Hiya! Yalrigh?

We had a great great week! We had an investigator come to church that
we found on the bus. Her name is J-- from Ghana! It was so great
that she came!
Also there was a baby blessing and my good ole' friends the Jests from
Aylesbury were there! Oh how I love them!!!!!
ALSO ,I found out that Sister Phillips is serving with my dear dear
friend sister Andersen!! That is so cool! Now sister Andersen and I
can make sister Phillips room with us in Provo ;).

We are having a bus finding challenge with the elders which is really
fun. You earn or lose points depending on if you do or don't talk to
them. You get more points if you talk about the gospel As well as
extra points if you give them a pass along card and Double points if
you get a return appointment with them. :) it makes finding more fun
:)

Sister K and I are getting along great  and we have some potential
investigators we hope to see this week.

One of my favourite people in the whole world is James Park.
The feed really knocks him out because his stomach
doesn't do the digesting, his intestines have to work extra hard. That
doesn't make him feel very good. Please keep him in your prayers for
his physical health smile emoticon love you all!

God is good

hallloooooooooooo UTAH!
hahaha this was a very very happy week. But also a crazy week.
I feel like my soul is singing the Hallelujah chorus! I just feel so good and so happy. Why?
Well, I went on Exchange and I read a really inspired talk.  We've been working really hard and it has been really fun. I feel happy because I really am doing all that I can. That I am working to the best of my ability. (not my capability, because that shifts) but I am working hard and it feels so good. But it's not forced 'might' labor as I have done before. and it isn't 'might and mind' labor because I have done that too. I finally am working with my whole heart, and might, and mind. And they are balanced. And I am just striving every day to give my whole self to the Lord, to love him and do what he has asked me to do ungrudgingly. To wholeheartedly, willingly, finally surrender. To stop fighting him with what I want to do and just do what he wants me to do because I love him.
Sorry if that doesn't make any sense but it is the root of the change that has occured in my heart and I just feel so good.
'Moreover I would that ye should remember the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God; for they are blessed in all things both temporal and spiritual. and if they hold out faithful to the end, they are recieved into a state of never-ending happiness, which is paradise.....' -Mosiah 2:41
It is  a TRUE promise.

Okay so now let me share some of my week.
Vanessa Park, the Harpers, Carl Lee, us and the Elders are throwing together a Special musical fireside for February 7th. Its going to be great. Yesterday we picked out the songs and practiced. It was really really fun. I loved it.
We are playing a game on the bus to help us talk to people and it is really working. We are talking and now we are getting numbers, and NOW we are getting return appointments with these people.
We went on a blitz with the Zone leaders on Saturday to find a family to teach. and we did and we did and we DID. It was SO cool! we found a man named P- from Ghana , we found R--from Ghana who use to work across from the Acra Ghana temple, we found P- who is from Nigeria who has read bits of the Book of Mormon, and we found E--.
Well, E-- found us. We got on the bus to go to church, both of us sat down and there was a man standing in the aisle holding to the rod. He looked at my name tag, and then at Sister katrnakovas, mine, then hers.
Then he said, 'Sister Coleman, come up and preach to me.'
He then went up to the upper deck of the bus.
Sister K and I looked at each other and said, 'lets go!'
We went upstairs and he said, 'wow, I didn't think you would really come. tell me about your church.'
We taught him about the Book of Mormon and testified of how it is a companion to the Bible. We got his phone number and set up a return appointment.
He said, 'I have so many questions, when can we meet?'
We are seeing him on Friday with his wife. and he is going to come to church!! What a miracle. :)

The blessings of the Lord are upon us! and N--is getting baptised! not sure if I've told you about her- she is Portuguese, we were teaching her but she moved to Basildon. It was really a miracle that she was able to get a flat there. we were praying for her to have a place to live so her family could come be here with her. The Romford ward and the Basildon ward Relief Societies have been awesome.  Because she moved to Baisldon we stopped teaching her at the end of December and turned her over to the Basildon missionaries. The members are the key to her being where she is today. :)

I love you all! I am praying for you!!
Love,
Sister Coleman I

Sister Coleman I and Sister Coleman II

Hiya! Yalrigh?
Merry Christmas! And happy new year!
The Atonement is awesome. It just is so cool. We get to try again and
again. We can be changed. It is marvellous. I had two really amazing
experiences I wanted to share:

1st. I have been praying for the past couple of weeks to know if the
Lord is pleased with me. That may sound silly, but one of Satan's most
powerful weapons against me is to whisper that the Lord is displeased
with me. That I've messed up too many times, I say the wrong thing,
that I should have acted when I didn't, that I'm slothful and lazy,
and that the Lord considers me an unprofitable servant.
Hence, why I have been praying. There was one night when I prayed that
I did receive a great feeling that he was pleased with me, but in the
heat of the day, that feeling disintegrated. I should have talked to
that lady on the bus, I disagreed with my companion, etc etc. so I
began to pray with more distress to really repent and know that he was
pleased.
We come to Sunday and after church I was talking with a member about
faith. Then he said to me, 'the Lord uses all of our gifts and
potential. Every drop. And he is pleased with your gift. He is
pleased.'
I was dumbstruck. The words he had said and how it was phrased were
prompted. I cannot deny such a clear answer. Which is so cool because
guess what? I wasn't perfect on Sunday, nor have I ever been. I can
count on myself to be consistently imperfect. But I can also count on
myself to be perfect in trying. And the Lord is pleased with me. He is
pleased that I continue to practice and continue to keep trying. He is
pleased with all of us. So don't give up! Keep practicing. Keep
trying!

2nd: back to the faith thing. The other thing I struggle with is
having faith that people will listen and be interested in the church.
I was talking to my district leader about this and he said, 'sister
Coleman, someone is waiting for you.' AGAIN. It was like brother
Benites walked in and handed me his paper again. 'Someone is waiting'.
I was reminded of the reason I decided to serve, which was the
impression that I had made promises to people before we came to earth.
They made me promise them that I would find them and teach them of
their Saviour. I do believe that there are individuals I have met this
past year that I have fulfilled that promise to. But my time is not
yet up, and there must be someone else here in England because I'm not
released till May. Please pray that we will be able to find those
people. The people I promised. I believe that this particular mission
will not be finished in May. I believe it is a lifelong quest for me
to find these people and teach them of their saviour.

I also pray that you all may have success in finding your own
premortal promises. I love you!

Happy Christmas! And Happy new year!

Love,
Sister Chloe Coleman

Hiya!! Ya alrigh?
Happy new year!!
We had a miracle week!

We went to the Parks on New Year's Eve and played taboo. The people
who live above our flat were very noisy and drunk all night haha that
was interesting. On Friday we fasted for a friend . We continued fasting
through Saturday with a mission fast blitz
like the one last transfer. And there was Manna from heaven! Oh boy.

1st. I felt excited to find people and a potential confirmed for an
appointment.
2nd A former investigator agreed to a return appointment.
3rd We talked to a really lovely Catholic lady who boosted our spirits.
4th We went tracting in the evening and we chose 'Godwin terrace'
because we thought we would win with God haha. No one was home. Only one
man opened and he wasn't interested. We continued down the street and
then one lady answered and said, 'hi sisters' as she opened the door.
We were so confused haha. She told us that her sisters had taken the
missionary discussions when she was young and had been baptised. They
are now less active. But she told us we could come back and share a
message with her!
5th  Sunday we got on a bus and a young man said to us , 'are you missionaries?'
We said yes. He said, 'oh my cousin is a
missionary in Ilford ward.' What!? We found out that his mom is a
member and all his cousins. His mom goes to Ilford ward instead of
Romford ward but said we could come visit! SO COOL!

It was amazing. It was happy. :) All is well. All is well.

I am so excited for Sister Coleman the second! Or Sister Coleman II!
California is PERFECT for her! And the timing is the Lords. How much
better is it for us to serve at the same time then to spend a short
time together and then say goodbye again. I am at peace with it. :) my
favourite chapter in the bible is Hebrews 11. Read it. It is great.
Especially verse 39 and JST 40.

I love you!!

Love, Sister Coleman I   :)
