Truth Will Prevail: Amazed at the love. Cat hair. IPADS

Hiya!

I am so amazed at all of the love and succor I have recieved. I feel whole again. I feel empowered to do the Lord's work. Thank you thank you thank you for the prayers and support. It has made a difference. :)

I am just so awkward. haha. We were on a bus going to Tesco to hunt down Black beans for Mexican Pizza and there was a young man sitting one row behind me by himself. There really wasn't anyone else on the bus, and I kept thinking, "I should just go to talk to him.. uh I should really just go talk to him." So I decided that once the bus stopped I would get up and sit by him to talk to him. The bus stopped and I hopped up to sit by him, but before I finished sitting down the bus started to move again and I almost fell on top of him. It was so funny. He was amused. I am so awkward. I gave him a pass along card :).

After this, we went to see our friend Linda who has 6 cats. I sat down on her couch and my skirt looked like I was wearing all 6 of the cats it was so coverd in hair. Linda offered a lint roller but I had an Emily moment... I went and got the vaccum. :) and made sister Wai vaccum (or hoover) all the hair off of my skirt. Linda was laughing so hard. Sister Wai thinks I am so strange haha! But I thought it was brilliant. Totally something Em would do :)

Miracle:

Some members in our ward introduced us to C from Costa Rica. We had the most amazing lesson with him. We testified of the Restoration of the Gospel and of Joseph Smith. I could feel the spirit burning in my heart just as it says in the scriptures. We testified of the spirit we could feel and C could feel it too. He is working towards a baptismal date in May :).

We also are working with a part-member family. G is the mom , two of her boys are over 8, the eldest, P is 13. He went to Young Mens this week and LOVED it. He wants to be baptised. He studies the bible on his own, and I am SO excited to teach him about Joseph Smith! I am so excited :).

News: The England London Mission is now getting.................ipads! WOOHOO! We are having a special conference next week where 2 general Authorities are coming to train us how to use them effectively in our missionary work. YAY!

Questions:

Are you drinking enough water? Probably not :). On days that I do carry a water bottle, it is very heavy and I worry about finding a toilet. On days I don't, I'm usually thirsty but I drink a lot at meal times.

Eating protein? Really, are you? Yes. I usually have cheese or chicken or peanut butter or grape nuts.

Who does most of the cooking? You or your companion? I think I do the most, but there are a couple of things Sister Wai knows how to make :). We went crazy with a chicken noodle soup the other day ( we didn't have all of the ingredients and we ended up using greek yoghurt instead of sour cream, pasta instead of noodles, and the broth was sketchy haha). It was fun. We also make a lot of cookies............. :)
